We are honored to have been a part of this past weekend’s fundraising efforts for the Construction Industry of Maui’s Bob Poulson Scholarship!
This special scholarship awards two graduating Maui seniors entering a program in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or any other program that supports the Maui building and trade industry. Bob Poulson was a steward of the Maui Community who co-founded Arita Poulson General Contracting. He played an integral role in the founding of the Construction Industry of Maui organization and is a leader who greatly benefited the island of Maui and the State of Hawaii through his various projects building schools, hospitals, churches and gathering places that we enjoy. The Bob Poulson Scholarship is dedicated to his legacy and benefits Maui’s future by helping to educate those who want to pursue the building industry and return to the islands for work.
Premier’s very own President, Anthony Nelson, Chaired the Scholarship committee that brought in nearly $30,000 from CIM’s annual holiday event held at the Fairmont Kea Lani this past Saturday, December 11th, 2021. Check out the awesome scholarship video that Anthony put together with the help of past recipients to communicate the true value of this scholarship to considering donors.
